Short Tom is the pet parrot of Captain James Hook.
History[]
Short Tom is the prized pet of James Hook who values him above all else of his crew and often is mentioned to be Hook's only friend.
Personality and Appearance[]
- Short Tom has a patch over his right eye and unlike other adaptions he has both his legs and feet
- Short Tom is usually the one to alert the crew of Peter Pan, the Lost Boys or Wendy, John, Michael, Hard-to-Hit or Tiger Lily being on board or close by but often no one takes notice of his warnings.
Trivia[]
- In many other adaptions Short Tom is scrawny and bereft of most of his feathers, but here he is relatively healthy.
- Whereas in different interpretations he has a small wooden peg leg, here he has both his feet and legs.
