Peter Pan & Wendy is an adventure fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Studios and is an adaptation of Disney's 1953 animated film Peter Pan, which in turn is based upon the 1904 play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up by playwright J. M. Barrie. The film's development began on April 13, 2016, with the production team spending the next four years working on its script. The film's title was announced on January 7, 2020. It premiered on the streaming service Disney+ on April 28, 2023 to roughly coincide with the seventieth anniversary of 1953 original classic.

Production[]
Production started almost a year behind schedule in March 2021, with principal photography wrapping around the beginning of September. However, in January 2022 Molony revealed on his Instagram that the film was undergoing reshoots. [1]. The reshoots only lasted one week, from February 2 to February 8. [2]
Release[]
On September 10, 2022, a first look poster was shown at the 2022 D23 expo, revealing that the film would be would be released sometime during 2023.[3].
