The Nevermor is a Young Adult book series written by Lani Lenore and independently published serving as a dimensional counterpart to Neverland itself. With a total of four novels, that serve to tell a parallel reality version set in Victorian times to the classic children's tale. Which it seems was one of the first series to do so since the 2008 standalone Tigerheart since both actually feature a differentiating Neverland.

Overview[]

Originally starting with a re-telling sequel entitled Neverland in late 2001 re-worked and re-titled to Neverland: Forsaken Dreamscape that was a follow on that depicted what would propose if Wendy Darling returned to Neverland to discover it changed drastically. However in the process the author Lani Lenore decided that there was an opportunity to do something different, to break away from the old story and make something of her own. To create her own story inspired by the works of James Matthew Barrie depicting a comparable version of Neverland complete with divergent-ing characters created originally by J.M.Barrie himself while giving them her own interpretations while at the same time including those she invented herself solely for this universe and this corresponding reality version to the whole Peter Pan's mythos created by Barrie.

Set not in Edwardian times or turn of the century but instead in a parallel Victorian London between the early to the late ninetieth century, of three siblings one fifteen year old girl, and her pre-teen brother plus adolescent brother, struggling to stick together and not be separated and survive life in an orphanage as foundlings that is until one night when a mysterious nightly visitor comes a calling to spirit them away to place both paradise and perilous.
