Hanif is one of the supporting protagonists of the 2015 TV film Peter and Wendy. He was one of the child patients that Lucy Rose bonds with becoming the younger brother to Tiger Lily to his older sister Jaya who becomes Tiger Lily herself in our central character Lucy's Never Never-land Fantasy
History[]
Hanif is seen being wheeled around in his wheelchair by his older sister Jaya, Lucy firsts notices him in the background with his sister at the opening entrance to Great Olmond Street Children's Hospital. At first glance he appears catatonic and unresponsive but it's soon becomes clear he is still painfully aware of his current state and surroundings. Jaya is often seen moving him around in his wheelchair from room to room sometimes briefly leaving him for a time. When Lucy is reading to Rory leading to other kids dropping by to listen in on Peter Pan that she is reading out loud, Jaya brings her brother in to sit and hear the story placing Hanif next to the doll house replica of the darlings home to look at the figurines inside it. As he is being told the tale, he sees or imagines observing the figurines of the darling family and nana the dog moving by themselves causing him to let out a gasp or giggle prompting his sister to look at him in surprise. During the story he imagines he is younger brother to Tiger Lily, who is able to walk and talk having been caught up in a net trap set by Captain Hook and his pirates in an effort to catch any of the lost boys. In a final scene he is bed ridden while a nurse sits by his bedside holding his hand as an over hanging light shines down onto him
